Oh, the places I've been.

Adventure is Out There.

Adventure is Out There.

First blog post ever. Here goes nothin’. About four months ago after a week long road trip on the PCH through California, I was going about my everyday routine in NY when I thought ‘what am I still doing here?’. I lived in NY for about 9 years. Way longer than I ever thought I’d stay. Don’t get me wrong, I loved living there. Great friends, great job and yet it all felt a bit stationary, like I wasn’t going anywhere. So over the past four months I've moved home to Philly, cleaned out my apartment in Brooklyn, quit my job, left my friends and family, and bought a car. The new plan – to travel across the USA in "Bertha", my ’99 Subaru Forester, and see everything I’ve been missing. By the time I am done I will have been to 49 states (I’ve already been to Hawaii and odds are I may not make it to Alaska on this trip) and see all the national parks I can. I have my road map and my LonelyPlanet USA Road Trip book - bookmarked, highlighted and read cover to cover. I can’t wait to meet new people and see everything I've been missing!
